Vibratory roller: Vibratory rollers reduce the friction between material particles and rearrange them through high-frequency vibration, resulting in high compaction efficiency.
1. Compacted Thickness: The compaction thickness is generally between 0.3-2 meters, effectively improving the density and smoothness of the surface soil with minimal damage. In layered construction of cement-stabilized soil base courses, the compaction thickness of each layer should be 150-200mm, with a maximum of 250mm.
2. Static Roller: Static rollers primarily rely on the static pressure generated by their own weight to compact materials. The compaction depth is relatively shallow, generally not exceeding 20-25cm, and its compaction function is limited. It is suitable for compacting thin layers and low-cohesion materials.
3. Impact Roller: Impact rollers have unique deep compaction capabilities, achieving an effective compaction thickness of 1.0-1.5 meters, while traditional vibratory rollers can only cover 0.2-0.3 meters.
4. Hydraulic Compactor: A 200mm excavator can be equipped with an HC12 or HC16 hydraulic compactor, achieving a compaction thickness of approximately 1.5 to 3 meters, which generally meets construction needs. The HC84 and HC150 models of large high-speed hydraulic compactors can achieve an impact depth of 3-10 meters.
